We minimize data collection to only what is essential to process your license and ensure FileNav works correctly.

Purchase Information (via Lemon Squeezy): All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who collects your email (for license delivery), full name, country/region (for tax), and payment details. The developer doesn’t view or store credit or banking information—only Lemon Squeezy handles this as the Merchant of Record.

Your Files (Local Access Only): FileNav works locally on your Mac. All organize/move/rename operations occur on your device; we do not upload or transfer your files anywhere. Website & Technical Data: The site is hosted by Framer, which may collect anonymous technical data for site functionality, such as browser or referring site.

How We Use Your Information & Third-Party Services

The limited information collected is used to deliver license keys, verify valid copies of FileNav, support users with technical issues or refunds, and notify about app updates or critical patches.

We do not sell your data. We use only trusted providers: Lemon Squeezy for payments (see lemonsqueezy.com/privacy) and Framer for site hosting.

Data Security, Your Rights, Contact Us

We and our partners use industry-standard security to protect your purchase data. FileNav never uploads your personal files—their security depends on your Mac’s local protocols. Please keep your macOS updated to maximize security.
